Labour's Debt Crisis

Post Office Fight Goes On

The new Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has continued the fight to save London Post Offices. Boris is continuing with the judicial review challenge to the consultation on the Post Office closure programme. As many local residents will know, the Post Office’s case for closing the Abbeville Road Post Office is riddled with mistakes and factual errors.

Local Conservative, Al Hamilton, said: “Although Clapham Conservatives presented our petition to the Post Office and the Government, they are determined to ram these proposals through. Hopefully Boris’ challenge to the Government will succeed and this local institution will be saved.”
