Rahoul for Streatham – working for change
Rahoul Bhansali sets out his local priorities after being selected as Prospective Parliamentary Candidate
Rahoul has been campaigning on local issues in South London for over a decade.
Rahoul said: “I’m passionate about Streatham – it’s a great place. But we’ve been let down by years of arrogant and out of touch Labour mismanagement.
“I believe that Streatham is being held back by tired and incompetent Labour politicians both at Lambeth council and in Gordon Brown’s disastrous government.
“My priorities for Streatham are:
- Reducing crime and antisocial behaviour
- Cutting police red tape and saving our police stations from closure
“I pledge to keep police stations open and I call on the government to get our officers out of their cars and on to our streets.”
- 24 drinking has not worked. We have been left with a 24 hour mess on our streets.
- Labour’s policies are part of the problem, not the solution
“I call on Labour’s Westminster policy-makers to end this appalling experiment.”
- I passionately believe in supporting our local schools
“I will campaign for our local schools to receive more support to help our children to achieve their hopes and aspirations.”
- The Labour government and Lambeth Labour Council are wasting our money
“I will campaign for old fashioned financial responsibility and ensure that your money is well spent on good local services.”
