RAHOUL: THERE’S NOTHING BRITISH ABOUT THE BNP

Rahoul joins veterans’ campaign against the BNP using the memory of fallen heroes for their own gain

Rahoul has added his support to the Nothing British About the BNP campaign. Nothing British is a campaign against the politics of hate and aims to promote the British values of democracy, tolerance, fair-play and respect for one another.

The campaign this week launched a petition calling for the BNP to stop using the honor of the Armed Services community and the memory of fallen heroes to promote the politics of extremism and racism.

Rahoul said:

The election of two members of the British National Party to the European Parliament in June 2009 was a wake-up call to anyone who thinks you can confront racism by leaving it to others and ignoring the causes.

Now we find Nick Griffin and his cronies tastelessly exploiting the reputation of Britain's military to promote their nasty brand of racism, segregation and intolerance. Enough is enough.

It is time for decent people to step up and be counted in the fight against the BNP before their poison seeps through the fabric of British society.
