Vernon is Chairman of Thornton Ward. He’s a mental health practitioner by trade, local school governor, manages two local charities in the community and voluntary sector, and busy campaigner.

He is has resided in the London Borough of Lambeth for over 18 years and is always willing to help. Some of his recent achievements include:

• Developing and maintaining community garden in Agnes Riley Gardens
• Holding  Lambeth Council to account on housing related issues
• Keeping our community green, healthy and safe
